the check engine light is on. havent taken it to be tested yet. just fixed a fuel line leak lsat week. then the day after i get it back it starts to shift hard on every gear

Hello, Shifting hard on every gear makes me think you have a bad transmission mount. You could have a bad throttle position sensor, so the transmission thinks you are accelerating harder than you are. Really hard shifts can result.
Hard shifting like that does sound like a bad transmission mount, but a faulty throttle position sensor can cause it too. Checking both would be a good place to start.
