What is your question?
My Chevy g20 has engine failure. Engine is almost out but it's not fitting through dog house, new engine is in crate ready to be installed next to engine. transmission is leaking and may need replacement. Needs all new wiring in engine area, Needs entire front end dissembled to replace engine. My mechanic thinks it's too much work and not worth fixing. Already paid him 750$, it's not even out yet. What should I do? is it worth fixing or should I just sell it for scrap? Paid 2000$ to owner who claimed it was fine to drive. Paid another 2000$ for engine, can probably get most back on that...If I put another 1500-2000 into it I can get everything but the trans replaced...

Conversion Van in 'really good' shape otherwise .. ie paint, interior, tires? .. POS work Van you shouldn't have bought in the first place?? .. What do you plan to do with this Van, daily driver, travel, work etc..???
I don't have an answer but I do need help with something I am broke down in a 1984 Chevy sport g20 I don't know what happened something came out of my dash and hit me in my face and then something fried can someone help me please
The body is great, inside great. However transmission was good and not leaking but the person I hired may have damaged it. It's leaking profusely now. The electrical in the engine compartment needs repair and some replacement. My current mech said 1500 to replace the electrical. Tires are new, tranny was replaced in 2008. I had planned to use this for road trips and camping
Can't beat em for road trips!.. Campings good too... You gonna have too much money in it but if you like the Van, fix it and enjoy it!!.. I've got a pretty nice 1982 Beauville that I wouldn't sell for that total amount....unless of course I 'needed' the money!
