van has intermittent no start with variable symptoms...what next?

Yellow spark at spark plug and at distributor tower. have already replaced ignition coil (twice in case of bad part), also replaced: distributor cap and button, new fuel pump relay, new pump relay fuse, new fuel filter before the diagnostic tests traced power failure back down to "bad ICM". spark plugs and wires replaced last year and look 'good' still. will check flash code...hadn't thought of that! question: could this be a failing fuel pump? do pumps die slowly or die dramatically?

First - if the spark is inadequate it's not going to start! .. This ignition system should send a bright blue spark that'll easily jump a 3/4 inch air gap to a metal ground .. Don't worry about fuel until you have that type of spark going to the spark plug .. NOW, 'IF' spark is sufficient, 'carefully' adding fuel to the TBI should allow the engine to start and run momentarily... Don't forget about the distributor pick-up coil !

flash test result...trouble code 44....O2 sensor. potential source: Wiring short circuit to ground, fuel pressure low, MAP sensor, misfire, fuel contamination, exhaust system leaking, O2S/HO2S, ECM 12v across battery terminals. pick up coil measures 800 ohms so is good. read that spark at plugs also means crankshaft sensor is good...spark is still orange though. still tracing down all grounds updated 10.16 for future reference....was fuel pump.
