Chain should last the life of the engine. Problems may result from poor oiling.

Possible problem if a timing correlation code is present, otherwise?
Haven't had any problems but I know we used to replace them in the small blocks at about 130,000 or sooner if they were loose. Thanks for the help.
Have seen them still running at over 200,000.
