what needs 2b fixed if heater blower won't switch inside the van?

yes, there is a small fan running, seems to be the one under the hood outside the fire wall but the interior blower isn't responding. Previously the interior blower would shut down when the switch was turned to high. That would happen about 60% of the time. Now it won"t respond at all.
