Hatch latch keeps dinging and won’t turn off.

Hello, i'm not entirely sure, but it sounds like your vehicle thinks the lift gate is open when it isn't. Does your Equinox have less than 36,000 miles? You should still be underneath a 3 year / 36,000 mile factory warranty -- see your local Chevrolet dealership for an in-warranty diagnosis and repair -- as long as there are not any vehicle modifications / damages that you haven't mentioned here.
