Will a premium Equinox radio with XM and HD radio work in my Equinox L.

2018 Chevy Equinox L. Standard radio with Apple car play. 7 inch screen. I currently have the radio that comes with AM/FM. I want to add the premium radio that has the XM and HD options.

What makes this problem better or worse?

The standard radio came with the L series Equinox.

How long has your 2018 Chevrolet Equinox had this problem?

I want to upgrade with OEM.
