What is your question?
The button’s on both of my key fobs don’t work and my tpms light is on and stays on and the dash shows two lines instead of pressure # for each tire. I had some body work done - hood and headlight replaced. Everything worked fine before the work, but when I got the car back I had these issues. Is it possible that these issues are related to the body work that was done? I took the car to a mechanic and he wasn’t able to reset the TPMS. That’s what’s making me think it’s the wiring and maybe connected in some way to the headlight being installed.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Not knowing the extent of damage and repairs performed make it difficult too know for sure how to respond to your question. But - if the body work and the damage is the only thing different than before these problems occurred - then yes, I would say it is quite likely that these concerns are related to the body work and cause of feeding repairs. Hands on testing will confirm. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554. We'll gladly find you a certified RepairPal shop in your area.
