my equinox bucks from time to time and the check engine light is on.

If you let me know all of the codes I could possible help you better. It could be an ignition problem due to defective spark plugs or ignition coils or it possibly be a transmission problem also. Again if you have the codes numbers I may be able to give you a better answer. Thanks.
