Both past sets of tires and the current set the front tires wear faster then the back and the are wearing even across the front two tires.

One reason is that your vehicle has front wheel drive, another is that your front wheels typically do more than half the work in braking. As long as they are wearing evenly, I see no problem. And if you rotate your tires, as your owner's manual probably recommends, the wear will even out.
