What is your question?
I bought a used 2006 Equinox LS from a private sale--not a dealer. I tried to push/collapse them when I park but they didn't seem to want to fold in and I was afraid of damageing them. For city parcking it is good to be able to collapse your side mirrors when parked. The owners manual does not mention this. A Chevy dealer and the official Chevy customer service helpline told me "they didn't know". Does anyone know this??

I looked in you owners manual and I don't think your mirrors fold away http://www.extendedgmwarranty.com/owners-manual/ but here's a link to your owners manual.
I'm also looking for the answer to this question for my 2006 Equinox. I didn't know it even had folding mirrors, until I recently took it to a car wash and seen the guy taking it through the was with them folded in. I didn't ask him, I just figured they pushed in. But, when I got home they don't even budge. As you said, nothing is in the manual or on the owner's CD.
My mirrors fold in. I have a 06 Equinox. I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get the replacement glass fixed for my side mirror?
