How to fix broken schrader valve cap in hose.

I was trying to recharge my AC for my 2006 chevy equinox. When I tried to remover the lower schrader cap it was stuck, I then used pliers to twist it and it came off but when I looked I saw that part of the cap was still stuck inside the hose metal thing. Nothing i did worked to try and remove it. is there a way to just change that piece? or do I have to change the entire hose?
