fuel pump

What is your question?

what are some steps, remedies, to more accurately determine whether it is the fuel pump, that is the cause of vehicle not starting..... for example, is it spark plugs, or battery...... Because when I turn the key for engine to crank, motor and crank seem to dwindle after 15=20 seconds--- prior to which it sounds like it would fire up if ...had a spark, had fuel in chamber, could sustain prolonged key turn/crank.....

How long has your 2006 Chevrolet Equinox had this problem?
