Hello, What was the basis for replacing the ignition switch or fuel pump? This references an issue with the electronic brake control module (EBCM), specifically that it cannot communicate with the engine control module. Why the ignition switch or fuel pump relay were changed s beyond me, but the diagnosis needs to start with the circuit for the EBCM and move forward by attempting to establish which modules are not communicating over the high speed CAN (just a network for control modules to talk). This may be a failure of the EBCM, the engine control module (ECM), or even corrosion/faulty wiring.
First you have to understand how the GM can bus system works the BCM is the heart of system , all outer controllers send and receive information through it. You have to find a shop that can do electrical repair. If you don't have a shop with good diagnostic technician in your area you may want to take to a dealer. I have seem this same problem before most of the time it has been corrosion on grounds, wire connectors at EBCM. I had on with a corrosion at the front crash sensor.
