My ignition was busted out when the key was lost,a new steering column was bought but only the ignition was put in an the wiring to the ignition switch is messed upIt will not crank or startowhat to fix it an how much will it cost

I have bought a new battery and starter,it started out with the key not turning in the switch.I could wiggle it an it would turn eventually but not this time.I had to leave my car an it looks like someone tempted to steal it.The ignition switch was destroyed.After I bought a steering column only the switch was put in.I don't have any power at all.It wont crank or start.The column wires are pretty much destroyed.I don't know where to turn or where to start

What makes this problem better or worse?

It has no power.It won't crank or start
