Key fob

What is your question?

So OK little backstory my car my key fob like fell apart like the lock button fell out so I taped it back together, but I don’t know if there was water that might’ve gotten in there or not. I don’t know so what happened? Was it just like I tried to turn my car on one day and it wouldn’t turn on and so I finally got it turned on drove it up to Firestone. They’re doing the diagnostic. They said that they couldn’t really find a code for this codes that were popping up on my screen. I had like an antitheft lock code popping up. I had a battery saver code popping up. I also had a power steering pump replacement thing popping up and then which is crazy cause it’s an electric one and usually there’s a last had them test all of those and my transmission. Everything came back normal so they couldn’t find out what it was. I also have a spare key fob. I bought an eBay so I got that cut in programmed doing the same thing that the original key what could that possibly be?

What makes this problem better or worse?

Both of the key fobs are doing the same thing where my ignition I guess is just not like it’s not reading my keys at all
