What is your question?
So my car started having signs like the thermostat was bad. Started bubbling antifreeze and pushing it out causing it to leak. Was overheating. Heat inside the car worked on and off. I got a new thermostat put in and the water pump was going out so got that changed too. Car seemed to be working okay for a day then all of the problems came back. Coolant is bubbling like crazy in the reservoir. No signs of it being the head gasket but I’m stumped. Being told something different by every mechanic but tired of playing Russian roulette.

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. The bubbling in the reservoir is a big clue. For one thing, you can have an air pocket in your cooling system trying to purge. But this is a one-time kind of thing after cooling system repairs - such as thermostat replacement. Other than that, the only possible thing that can make the coolant bubble like you describe is back pressure from the exhaust system into the cooling system -- such has with a breach of then cylinder head or cylinder head gasket. I know you say "no signs of it being the he had gasket" -- but honestly, you are describing the biggest sign! I would suggest an evaluation at a shop near you. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554. We'll gladly find you a certified RepairPal shop in your area.
