What is your question?
I have a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze 1.4L LT Turbocharger with 67,040 miles, I've owned it for 4 years & she's been great for me! Recently she started dieing on me while driving and idling, I have replaced Turbocharger, Purge Valve Solenoid, Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor, Mass Air Flow Sensor, Fuel Pump Control Module, Spark Plugs, Coil Pack, and it's got a brand new front O2 sensor. I purchased the Fuel Pump, Catalytic Converter's & the Fuel Pressure Regulator Sensor. I had a "mechanic" come look at it & he put his OBD II scanner on it, and he is claiming code U0100 code is coming up which is (the ECM) Engine Control Module. I purchased one through Flagship for 205$ that's going to be programmed to my VIN. I am praying that this works, and I hope this "mechanic" didn't do something on his OBD II scanner to destroy my car?! Any thoughts or advice would be a miracle, if anyone has the same car as me & has experienced the same thing!
How long has your 2014 Chevrolet Cruze had this problem?
More than a month

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. No, no, no. Do not replace your processor. That is not what's wrong with your car. You need a professional technician to spend some time before you spend a ton of money and waste a bunch of time replacing parts that are not needed. You could have a whole bunch of things going on, but until somebody spent the time to find out what's going on beyond pulling a code – which tells you absolutely nothing – you're never gonna get anywhere. Reading the list of parts you replaced, it's baffling to see how much money has been spent on things you more than likely didn't need. But why not spend a few dollars on a professional technician who knows how to check out your concern legitimately and recommend a real repair that will work to fix your car?
