What is your question?
2012 Chevy Cruze lt. the car has been sitting in the driveway for at least 6 months. We jumped it and it started but the gauges weren’t working. We were able to put the windows down. When we parked it the windows wouldn’t go back up and they key is stuck in the ignition and unable to turn to the off position. I had the battery tested and recharged with no improvement. Checked all of the fuses and tested the resistance in the relays with a multimeter and there were no issues. The car will not start now. Can turn the key to ignition and there is no clicking or changes.

Hey, my name is Dusty, and I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team. I'm here to help! Your 2012 Chevy Cruze might have electrical issues after sitting unused for a while, but if it worked well before, it shouldn't take much effort to get it running again. I always recommend starting at square one, which would be re-inspecting the battery. Prolonged inactivity can damage the battery, and the results will be unreliable if it isn't load-tested (not just static). Also, testing immediately after charging can give inaccurate readings due to the presence of a surface charge. Or, given the vehicle's age, just replace it. Any electrical diagnosis will require the battery to be in good working condition for accurate results. Any tests completed with a battery in sub-par condition will be skewed and should be ignored. There could be an issue with the power distribution relay or the battery fuse block that directs power to the rest of the vehicle, which would have implications for the gauges, windows, ignition system, etc. Let's not get ahead of ourselves, though.
