Hello, Use the metal key from the key fob. If you look above the license plate on the rear, use that key hole to open the hatch. Then, on the left side of the cargo area, over the left rear wheel, there is a release for the driver door. Pull the release to enter through the door (do not close the door). Now, in the glove box on the left side, slide your key into the slot. Start the car if you'd like. After this, the key fob should be recognized, if not, you may need to change the key fob battery.
