Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. An air conditioning system requires a few different things to work and to work in tandem do operate and provide cool air inside the vehicle. The compressor must turn on properly, via the clutch and coil, cycling as needed. Refrigerant must move through the system including the evaporator core where the fan should blow cold air from cold refrigerant into cabin of the vehicle. The refrigerant should cycle through the front as it is now exchanged cold for hot and then go through the condenser where air coming through the vehicle from driving down the road or from the cooling fans will cool the refrigerant down to go back to the compressor again. Then the cycle repeats itself. Somewhere along the line, something isn't doing the job. The compressor may not be doing the job, the cooling fans may not be blowing to cool the refrigerant down as it cycles through the condenser, Or you could even have a climate control problem inside the cabin of the vehicle, not allowing cool air to be directed inside. Hands on inspection is needed to find out what's going on. So keep in mind that a full charge and proper charge of refrigerant is needed to provide cold air. Enforce the compressor to turn on but if there's not enough of a charge, you're not going to get cold air. Engine overheating oftentimes will blow off the refrigerant due to high pressure. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
