What is your question?
Driving my vette is a great blast but recently I have noticed that the oil pressure drops at idle back to around 20-30 psi. The car has 97,000 mi. and is still a very strong car. I have owned the car for 8 years and the oil pressure has always been steady around 40-60 at idle. The car does not smoke and runs out well. Whats UP!!!! Thanks

Engines wear, 97k on a Vette engine is no longer a new engine. I am sure that you have 'dropped the hammer' more than a few times, that is what a Vette is for, to have fun. You could try a heavier oil and I really prefer a pure synthetic. If you are really concerned, have a shop do a mechanical oil pressure test to verify that the 20-30 psi ( which is still very good at idle) is legit. Go from a 10-30 to say a 10-40 Mobil One, if it is good enough for a $450k Ferrari, well you know, it may just be good enough for a Vette.
