Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. No heat and a temperature gauge that is showing concerns from engine temperature - starts leading me to suspect a thermostat issue from the engine. If the thermostat is not opening at the correct time, hot coolant cannot flow to the heater core to provide heat inside the cabin of the vehicle. It can also cause an engine overheating situation...which is more concerning. There could be other issues of course -- and this is a concern that is bigger than can be addressed in this forum, but I would strongly suggest you have a qualified technician near you evaluate your vehicle and concern. It could be much worse than the "no heat" symptom. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554. We'll gladly find you a certified RepairPal shop in your area.
