Hello, Check the operation of the EGR system. The EGR valve opens when the engine is running above idle at a constant speed. This allows the recycling of exhaust gas back through the cylinder to decrease emissions, increase fuel mileage, and protect the catalytic converter from unburned fuel. If the EGR valve sticks open, it acts like a vacuum leak because the engine control module expects it to be closed. When you first start the engine in the morning, the engine control module sends excess fuel, so the extra air is not big deal. After the engine idles down, it should act like a vacuum leak, and can even cause stalling, not just hesitation. When the engine speed picks up, the EGR valve should be open, so the computer expects the vacuum air, thus compensates for it automatically. Check the EGR system first, scan for trouble codes, and let me know if i can further assist you.
