What is your question?
I have a 2004 Chevy Colorado and cut off the muffler a while back. I dont know if its because of reduced back pressure, but when I slow down to a stop the engine bogs down and sometimes completely dies. I was wondering if there was a way to fix this besides re attaching the muffler. Thanks.

Nothing that I know of
How long has your 2004 Chevrolet Colorado had this problem?

Hello, first, the muffler is a necessary component. Reinstall it. Maybe it will fix your problem. It needs to be on your vehicle. If it doesn't solve your problem, I would be looking at air intake and fuel delivery as possible areas of concern. Fix what you know to be wrong before trying to solve other problems that might be impossible to resolve without fixing the thing in the first place.
