Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. What testing has been performed to determine that there is a lack of fuel delivery to the engine? You'll need to check fuel pressure with the key on and engine off with a manual gauge at the fuel rail. If you find there is no fuel pressure, then yes - further testing is needed to determine if the pump as failed.
