Have a 09 Chevy cobalt have a crank no start did a scan on it it said ignition switch circuit 2 changed the ignition switch but still won't start

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Some quick initial advice: no scan will work if your vehicle is not running. Scans only work when systems are operating and a fault can be seen. If your vehicle will not start, you have to figure out the cause of why without any kind of trouble codes giving you any information. If your vehicle will crank and not start, I would be looking for fuel pressure readings first. I do not believe in any "scan" that points to ignition issues.
