What is your question?
The famous passenger leak has been going on on my '09 Chevy. I followed some YT videos by putting a small hose on the drain in the hood, but no luck. What I have been doing is going to a free vacuum place and just vacuuming the drain to unclog the drain. This has been working, but it has become a weekly thing. My question is: the water that leaks inside the passenger when it clogs again messed the blower motor. I replaced the motor blower resistor, but since the water leaks from the housing of the motor blower, the motor itself sounds like it's failing. My question is: Would replacing the blower motor fix my leaking issue, or would I need to replace the whole HVAC unit case?
What makes this problem better or worse?
It's worse when the AC is on
How long has your 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt had this problem?

The leaking issue is that the water that forms in the evaporator core is not evacuating via the hose in the plenum that leads to outside of the car. This really shouldn't be so complicated; if the hose is intact as it should be and free of restrictions and routed properly, then it should all be good.
