a question for you is how much water are we talking about. if you have driven in a large puddle or a flooded road? check for water entering the air filter. if it is soaked you might remove the spark plugs and make shure that the engine has not been stoped by water .This could cause engine damage.

How much water - how deep? Could be trouble; check the air filter box to see if it's fully of water, or if the air filter is soaked. If water was ingested into the engine, you may be stuck.
