Hello, not much good to report here. The best move is to take it to a trusted local shop where an evaluation and diagnosis can be performed. The only things you can do "easily" is check for proper maintenance, such as fluid change of the transmission. But this is not likely to affect any change at this point. When the symptoms are readily present, it's often too late to do anything about internal hydraulic issues. Further, an electronic concern could be present also, but usually when this is the case, warning lights are associated with the concern also. Good luck.

I also have this problem with my chevy cobalt. However, I just got a new clutch replaced recently, and it really doesn't make any sense that it would be doing this.
