What is your question?

power steering light comes on now and then. Once you stop and restart car, it resets and works again. After awhile it will go out until you restart the car again.

There is an intermittent fault with your power steering. When the power steering light comes on a code is set in the control module. Someone with a scan to should try and read the code. The fault code stored in the system can help lead to the cause of your intermittent fault.

I had the same problem with my 2005 Cobalt. I paid to get it repaired in November 2009. Two months ago I received a recall letter in the mail. I filed a claim and was reimbursed. If you did not get a recall letter, please call GMC.
