Car died, wouldnt turn over???

Hello, I had my 2006 Cobalt power just die on me when I was driving it. I had no prior problems with this. I jumped it 2 times, got a couple inches and it died again, ended up having it towed to a shop. They hooked it to a diagnostic machine and said there were no codes stored. I drove it home and had know problems with it. Has anyone had this problem??? They thought in might be a sensor, but with out the code or any signs of problems they have know way of knowing. I'm planning to take it up to dealership on Monday to have them look at it.
