car is running very hot, 140 Degrees. not boiling over, but awfull hot
What is your question?
What is normal, and what do you think i should look at. the fan is working, and the coolant is full. temp comes down a little when moveing. 130 or so.

If in fact is at 140 degrees that is not hot, normal is closer to 190 to 200 degrees.You may have a stuck open thermostat. Have a qualified shop inspect.

192 Degrees is normal up too 205 I own a 2008 cobalt I bought in Jan. 2008.
