The car starts off and on more off. I drove to work Tuesday and 7 hours later nothing. Won't jump but lights work radio works

From your posted description it seems the engine is not CRANKING at all - that is not the result of a failed crankshaft position sensor .. It is possible the battery cabling is not making proper connection at the battery OR the starter motor is failing .. Hint > SOMETIMES lightly tapping the starter motor housing with small hammer or like tool will aid a failing starter motor and it will rank the engine over .. Then it must be replaced to prevent such problems form occurring again.
