HI,I HAVE A 05 CAVALIER AND HAVE AN INTERMITTENT SPEEDO. PROBLEM.AFTER DRIVING FOR 20 MILES OR MORE SPEEDO WILL READ 20-30 MPH HIGHER THAN ACTUAL OR NOT AT ALL.ALSO MAY SET AT 60-120 MPH AFTER STOPPING CAR AND SHUTTING OFF.I CAN RESET IT BY LETTING CAR SET FOR AWHILE AND CYCLING KEY A FEW TIMES TO BRING NEEDLE BACK TO 0.ANY IDEAS?

This is most often due to problems with the vehicle speed sensor. If it's not that, it may be a problem with the gauge itself.
This is very common on the 03-06 GMs. The cause is the motors behind the gauges are failing, they all go out eventually. You can get it repaired here - www.drspeedometer.com and there's a DIY guide here - www.howtorepairmyinstrumentcluster.com
normal problem,,no fixes that really work,,mines been doing this for over 2 yrs,,got used to it
