where is oil filterlocated

I'm assuming you found it but it is in the front right side of the engine. You will see a large plastic nut. When you unscrew it you can pull the filter out. It doesn't look like a typical filter because there is no housing around it. The filter can be pulled free from the cap with a good twist and tug. Then snap the new one on and replace it.
