The track off light is on and check engine light is blinking and its acting up

was driving in traffic today and all of the sudden i wasnt able to accelerate and track light came on then it seemed like it wasnt switching gears and it was kind of bucking a little and its an automatic btw. I got to a gas station and checked oil it was very low so we added some and bam it was all better! Then a few miles later it returned engine light blinking and sounds like a wind up toy the exhaust pipe is shaking making a weird noise...no smoke or water coming out though.so now when i slow down or stop it shakes like its gonna stall and i can accelerate for the most part lol im just about 45 mins from home and scared to do more damage by driving it but i cant leave it where i am and i have no other way home. Im confused as to why the oil initially seemed to fix it and dont know what could be wrong? All the money that has gone into this piece of crap car we could have a bmw lol. Any idea what this could be?

The blinking engine light is tell you there is a misfire going on.It to will disable the traction control.This is common on many car lines.Have it checked right away.We are in Ambler and have an opening this Wed. if you want it.
Thank you for your quick reply! On my way home last night ( yes i drove it from philly all the way home lol) it all of the sudden started working again! Trac light went off and engine light stopped blinking. Then today it started up again. How much would it cost me to have it checked out? I will have to check and see what i can do,but i know it needs to be done asap
