Why does the horn go off when turning key

What is your question?

My cars horn sounds when turning the ignition on but car does not start. I don't think this a serious problem. At least I hope not. Any advise will help. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I would be focused on the area in the steering column where the ignition key cylinder, ignition switch and sliding contact are. There is likely a wiring or component concern in that area.
