What would it cost to replace transmission

Hello, Before replacing the transmission, seek diagnosis. A vibration at 40mph could be many things, even a wheel/tire, motor mount, misfire, etc.. Have the vehicle looked at by a certified technician, and get a good diagnosis before replacing one of the most expensive parts on the car.
