Car won't shift out of gear

What is your question?

Parked the car and wanted to straighten it out. Went to put the car in reverse and it died. Tried to start the car and it won't start and it won't shift into another gear. Can't get the key out either.

Sounds like a torque converter problem. Sounds like the lock-up is enguaged in the converter? Good Luck!
