what temperature is the cooling system relay set to activate?

have an overheating problem. Code 480 not sure if it's the relay, the sensors or teh fan motor itself, but this will allow me to check by the numbers. Thanks for the quick response.

Customer Concern: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0480 is stored and the cooling fan is inoperative. Tests/Procedures: 1. Check the cooling fan fuse. 2. Check the cooling fan relay for an open circuit between pins 85 and 86. If yes, replace the relay. 3. Check the continuity of the Green wire from the relay pin 86 to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) pin 54 on the Black connector. Potential Causes: Circuit Open Fuse Relay Diagnostic Codes: P0480 P0480 Cooling Fan Relay Control Circuit MalfunctionPossible Causes Setting Conditions Fan control relay connector is damaged (inspect pins for damage, corrosion) Fan control relay control circuit is shorted to ground Fan control relay control circuit is shorted to system voltage Fan control relay Ignition circuit is open (check the Cool Fan fuse in U/H block) Fan control relay is damaged, or it has failed PCM has failed Key on or engine running; system voltage over 9.5v, and the PCM detected the Actual and Commanded states of the Cooling Fan relay control circuit did not match for 6.25 seconds.
