Also inspect your battery cables for wear and corrosion. You might consider replacing your battery cables and making sure your ground wire is tight.

hmmm sounds like it could be a bad connection, battery cable wires or the alternator wire. i had that problem with one of my cars too and it was one of the wires back by the alternator.
