why my 2013 chevy caprice wont start

went to put the key in the ignition and turn the key nothing happened just the brake, abs, stabililitytrac come on in the warning lights the keys are good battery on the fob is good key programed to the car it wont let me reset to factory settings says not responding plugged ob2 tester on the car with the key on did not pull anything up could it be in the ignition switch

What makes this problem better or worse?
