93 Caprice Wagon I hotwired by wiring 3 fuses at box now my AC dont switch on

My heater and AC switched on and worked until I had to hotwire car to start. It starts by holding the 2 wires coming from each of its own fuse then touch another wire coming from another fuse to the 2 together. Once starts pull wire back away from the 2. To stop engine disconnect the 2 wires holding. Ok question since this happened why dont my heater or AC switch on or work anymore? I need my AC and heater. Did I blow something in tbe process? Do I need an inline fuse for more amp? I dont know plz help.
