need to know if charges are accurate here a a few rear/front brakes, rotors,caliper seal kit $1117.31 morel lifters, head bolts, crossover gasket, coolant,lifter tray $1590.00 rotors/calipers powder coated $480 street tune/dyno $550.00 R&R cam, oil pump, oil pan timing chain $4115.21 clean short block $2500.00

Hello, they are only "accurate" if you've been presented the information, reviewed it, and authorized it. Reviewing something that has happened in the past really doesn't do much for you. Either you have a good relationship and confidence in who you have been working with -- or you don't. If you are feeling wary, establish a relationship first hand with a different shop and technician near you. My first reaction seeing that list of repairs is: "WHY"? I would personally never spend that kind of money on a 10 year old vehicle. You could spend $14,000 towards a brand new vehicle that is far safer, more economical and exhibits the latest of technologies, while probably selling your vehicle to someone who wants to fix it up. But -- that too is not terribly relevant to you. In my place of business that I manage, I am in awe of folks that spend tens of thousands of dollars on 10-20 year old vehicles. It never seems to make sense to me. But, to others it does. To each their own.
