What would cause front left turn signal bulb to keep burning out?

The left turn front signal was working on and off. Then stopped working completely. On the dash the left turn arrow would be dim and not flashing. The right side works fine. When hazards on, all but front left work. Fuse is fine, swapped hazard relay and turn signal relay to test. Both worked. Have replaced front socket and bulb multiple times (found it was blown next day after again) and checked for any visible short in wire. When I turn on left turn signal, it sometimes will come on normal on dashboard but only back left is flashing if at all.
