have a 96 Chevy C 2500 the tachometer, speedometer, oil gauge, and amp all quit

What is your question?

my entire instrument panel less my gas suddenly quit working engine fires fine no problems transmission is standard no problems when I turn on the headlights the dash lights light up but it rings like the doors open help please

There isn't a common cause with what you stated as the problem. The speedometer, the tach and the PRNDL display share the same power feed. The oil gauge, amp....and the fuel gauge share the same power feed. Nothing points to one feed or the other. You'll have to remove the instrument cluster and back probe the wires in the connector with a multimeter to confirm a bad instrument cluster based on voltage readings. If you reply with an email address I can send you the diagram. Assuming this is the 5.7L engine?

As you may have heard the news we've had an enormous amount of rain last few weeks I would not have been driving the truck but we were in the process of getting in the way of a tornado had to drive to some water and and this happened. I think it was coincidence as little water got inside the truck

I sent the diagram. With water entering the cabin, you really can't tell what damage it will cause.
