What is your question?
98 Chevy c1500 5.0L ext cab. RWD At about 60km + the vehicle shakes (even in nutrual) Rear shocks replaced leafs re arched new brakes all around new rotors and bearings new ball joints new inner and outter tie rods with new sleeves. Tires balanced and had changed to balanced winters which are on different rims. alignment done. Shaft hanger bearing replaced rear ujoints replaced. Been told intermediate shaft is worn but I don't have an out of control steering wheel when it happens it just vibrates like the dash mirror ect. At times when it happens there is a humm that create cab pressure. I am out of ideas of what it might be and had it in 5 different shops none can figure it out.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Worse:Speed with and without load (ie in drive and neutral)
How long has your 1998 Chevrolet C1500 had this problem?
Over a month
Often tires have belting issues that can’t be found any other way! This balancing method puts the tire under actual road force conditions. I suspect there IS a TIRE PROBLEM ! Good luck!
Furthermore - since the vehicle “shakes” only at highway speeds - that pretty much eliminates and sort of driveline problem which would be present at ALL speeds! This vehicle has a defective tire on it - PERIOD ! All I can add at this point is GOOD LUCK TO YA!
