What is your question?
I'm on at least the 4th fuel pump since the truck was new, the last 3 according to the mechanic and my testing had a leaking check valve. I've found inline valves for around $10 which sure beats $150-$300 for a new pump not counting the work involved but need to know the size. THANKS

Can I ask why the "check valve" is suspect? .. Is the fuel pressure dropping off when engine is turned off or fuel pump isn't working and truck will not start... Just trying to get the symptoms as this is a unusual request and there may be another problem.
After sitting all night I have to cycle the fuel pump a few times to crank the engine. With guage on fuel line pressure is about 62 PSI with engine not running but starts to leak down after 20 minutes or so unless I pinch off the line from filter to intake then it holds steady. I did the same test as my mechanic did when the last pump gave problems with the same results and he said the pumps check valve was leaking back into the tank. Right now the problen is not an everyday thing but most days it happens. I'm running sea foam in this tank of fuel in case it may ust be sticking due to the high quality gas we get now. Hope this clears up the confussion. Thanks for the reply.
I assume you have tested the initial prime pressure upon first start after sitting overnight to confirm low pump pressure(?) .. The only thing is if the pump is the culprit, then the pressure will still drop off from the pump to your check valve .. However I haven't tried that so I can't say if it will actually help or not with a first start after truck has been parked overnight.. You can measure the outside diameter of the metal part of the line to get the inside diameter of the rubber hose... Good luck with it!
Thanks for the info if the problem continues I think I'll try the inline valve from what I understand it should hold the pressure at least from the filter to the intake and if it works it's sure a lot less expense and work than changing the intank pump. Thanks again if we end up going this route will let you know how it turns out-might save others a lot of cash if they have the same problem.
IF you do wind up having to replace the pump again, remove the truck bed to do the job. .. That is much easier than pulling the tank! .. Also use a complete *pump assembly* .. Delphi brand is OEM .. You may already know all that .. I hope the check valve deal works, let us know.
