What causes the rear drum brakes not to engage?

Either hydraulic or mechanical failure. Visual inspection would be needed to accurately answer that question , with no other details. what symptoms? Pedal go to floor? has anyone actually inspected them (both sides) yet? How do you know they are 'not engaging'? just a few thoughts to start with. but , hey....euoyoqeubydcq
